Victim killed by fallen tree in Ontario County identified – Finger Lakes Daily News
UPDATE:
On August 14, 2024, at approximately 2:37 p.m., officers from the New York State Police Station Canandaigua responded to an incident on Willis Hill Road in the Town of Victor where a tree had fallen on a man.
Upon arrival, officers found that 68-year-old Richard King had been fatally injured while operating a tractor. Preliminary investigations indicate that King was clearing brush when a tree struck him and he died. The Ontario County Coroner was called to the scene.
The New York State Police were assisted by the Victor Farmington EMS and Fire Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
