President Joe Biden has officially announced his Re-election in a turbulent month of the presidential election campaign. Instead, Biden supported the current Vice President Kamala Harris. With just 100 Days before election night, Harris is sprinting toward the finish line. It’s a challenge to gain enough support this late in the race. Was Biden’s withdrawal the right decision, especially this late?

After her appointment, Harris was inundated with Support from the Democratic Party – particularly Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

“It is with tremendous pride and boundless optimism for the future of our country that I endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States. I have every confidence that she will lead us to victory in November,” Pelosi said. announced on X.

In the first 24 hours after Biden’s departure, Harris 81 $ Millions in donations. Their total contribution is over $126 million. 64% of the contributions came from new donors who had not previously contributed to the 2024 election cycle. In addition to a notable financial boost, the campaign team was able to recruit about 74,000 new volunteers.

Harris’ campaign website has been released and Biden’s tracks are disappearing. Their major rebranding includes a new product line and updated social media. New campaign Show Some of them were directed against her Republican opponent.

“In this election, each of us faces a question: What kind of country do we want to live in? Each of us has the power to answer that question, and we have a lot of work to do in the next 103 days,” Harris wrote in a Post on X.

Since Harris’ nomination, Generation Z has taken the internet by storm. From pop remixes of audio clips of their speeches to public statements of support from celebrities, there’s an interesting mix of social media, memes, pop culture, and politics all coming together to create a new trend. For people who are constantly away from the internet, these memes are hilarious and important for their visibility and support.

The most iconic meme comes from Harris, who is an official remark for a swearing-in ceremony in May 2023. As part of the speech, she pays tribute to Miguel Cardona, the Secretary of Education, and touches on topics ranging from education to equality. The famous clip is from this speech, with people citing the specific section as a joke.

“My mother sometimes gave us a hard time and said to us, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree?’ (laughs),” she said. “You exist in the context of everything you live in and what came before you.”

This quote was born into a meme. From Instagram to TikTok, the phrase “You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” is everywhere. It has even flooded the lingo of Generation Z and my friends quote it religiously. Not a day goes by that I don’t hear it.

On The Drew Barrymore Show, host Barrymore coined the famous term “Momala.”

“I keep thinking that we all need a mommy. I’ve been thinking that we all really need a huge hug in the world right now. But in our country, we need you as the mommy of the country,” Barrymore said.

Could the internet’s ridiculous reaction to her election amid all the memes help or hurt her? On the one hand, it could benefit her visibility and popularity, especially among key Gen Z and Millennial voters.

On the other hand, it could also have a negative impact on her and seriously damage her campaign. As a presidential candidate, she needs to take things seriously. Will voters rally around someone with a sense of humor? Can she handle high-pressure situations, meet with foreign politicians, and even make world-changing decisions about nuclear war?

As the election campaign continues, one must keep a close eye on “Momala” and see how people react to her being in the spotlight.
