A new video shows the moment the driver of a pickup truck hit a woman walking on a road in northwest Georgia and drove away.

More than two months later, police have still not made any arrests in this case.

The newly released video shows the truck hitting 59-year-old Ginger Maxwell.

In addition, the video shows the truck returning to the scene after the accident while police were on site.

Now they hope that this new, unbearable video will give investigators new clues.

Maxwell told us on Wednesday that she hasn’t crossed the street since the accident.

While her wounds are still healing, she still carries emotional scars from that day.

The incident occurred on the evening of June 8 on East Villanow Street near Charles Henry Circle.

According to police, the pickup truck was traveling west on Duke Street but eventually returned to East Villanow Street and continued west toward downtown.

The driver left the woman with multiple broken bones. A family member told us shortly after the accident that she has “a long road to recovery ahead of her.”

According to police, the vehicle appears to be a gray Ford F150 4×4 and is believed to be a 2011 or 2014 model.

The vehicle features a chrome package that includes chrome door handles and running boards, as well as mud flaps and a bed cover.

Police told us on Wednesday that investigators had now succeeded in tracing the driver’s route and that they would soon provide more precise street names.
