Her sister was her maid of honor but didn’t even show up on her wedding day. Now she doesn’t want to help with her sister’s pregnancy

Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking these days. In fact, it’s probably one of the most difficult (and expensive) events to organize.

That’s why the bride and groom rely on the support and advice of their loved ones during this stressful process.

But can you imagine your sister – who also happens to be your maid of honor – completely ignoring you on your big day?

This 29-year-old woman found herself in the same sad situation just last year.

To put it in context: She and her 27-year-old sister have always been very close. At least that’s what she thought.

So she asked her sister to be her maid of honor after she got engaged to her fiancé, and they planned their wedding—which was small and private—as usual.

However, when the day of her wedding came, her sister was nowhere to be found and did not even show up.

“No call, no text, nothing. I was devastated, but I tried to focus on the day and not let it ruin everything,” she recalls.

After she officially got married, she learned that her sister had allegedly suffered a panic attack beforehand and “just couldn’t handle the pressure.” She even went easy on her sister and tried to be both understanding and supportive.
