Women from across the state are invited to Annie’s Project, a transformative two-day retreat dedicated to fostering connections, sharing knowledge and Empowering women with passion for agriculture.

We are happy to welcome long-time, beginners and future farmers from urban and rural areas to participate in this inspiring event, which focuses on Collaboration, growth and empowerment.

The Annie’s Project Retreat is offered by the U of M Extension Women in Ag Network in Partnering with the Friends of Frog Tree Farm, north of Wadena, on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22, 2024.

The event includes a variety of exciting workshops, insightful speakers and numerous Networking opportunities. These activities are designed to address the unique challenges and Opportunities for women in the agricultural sector. Whether you are an urban farmer, a farmer Farmer or somewhere in between, your perspective and experience are invaluable to our collective Success.

The course normally costs $99, but thanks to a regional sustainable development initiative Partnership project, registration for this retreat costs only $25 per participant. The number of participants is limited to the first 16 people. Overnight stays are in cabins and round tents on the Frog Tree Farm, 26279 County Rd 9, Verndale, MN 56481.

A carpool will be formed from Brooklyn Park, departing around 5:30 p.m. on Friday. evening and return around 7pm on Sunday evening. Further information to follow available shortly before the event.
