    How to watch Twisters – when is Twisters streaming?

    In the new Twisters, Kate Carter (Edgar-Jones) has retired from storm chasing after a traumatic experience with a tornado during college. She has since moved to New York City, where she studies storms from the safety of her computer screen rather than heading straight into the belly of the beast. However, her old friend Javi (Ramos) convinces her to return to Oklahoma to test out a new storm-tracking technology. While back in town, she clashes with Tyler Owens (Powell), an influencer known for posting his experiences as a storm chaser on YouTube. Together, the three find themselves in the path of several tornadoes in the deadliest series of natural disasters in history.

    “The original Twisters“When the film came out, it meant a lot to me because I was seeing a film set in the area where I grew up,” said director Lee Isaac Chung in a video released by Universal Pictures. “I grew up on a farm near Westville, Oklahoma, and that terrain – that landscape is a part of me.”

    “The fact that we can shoot in Oklahoma is really crucial,” Powell interjected. “And also, it’s such a character in the film. It’s about community, it’s about home, and it’s about that mutual love and how everyone looks up at the sky with awe and admiration.”

    Chung concluded: “This is a film about science, about hope, about people trying to work together to solve problems, and it’s also about adoring, honoring, respecting and loving nature.”

    As Twisters is finally hitting theaters this weekend. Here’s how you can stream the film from home.

    How can you stream Twisters?

    With a cinema release on July 19, Twisters will initially be released in theaters but will eventually land on the streaming platform Peacock. The exact streaming date is still unknown, but in the meantime, viewers can rent or purchase the film on demand online.
