The opening film of My Hero Academia The Movie: You Are Nextwith the theme song “Homunculus” by Vaundy, was released on TOHO Animation’s YouTube channel.

The fourth anime film in the My Hero Academia The franchise made its Japanese theatrical debut on August 2 JST and is set to premiere in the US on October 11. The plot revolves around a newcomer named Dark Might, who leads a mysterious crime organization called the Gorini Family and emerges and declares himself the new symbol to replace All Might. Other new characters include Anna Scervino, a daughter of the wealthy Scervino family who possesses a special quirk, and her butler Giulio Gandini, who is now trying to kill her for some reason.

Viz Media describes the manga as follows:

Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he doesn’t have the slightest potential for it. With no chance of ever being accepted into the prestigious UA High School for Aspiring Heroes, his life seems more and more like a dead end. But then an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero of all, gives him the chance to change his fate…
