The White Lotus
Actors Walton Goggins and Patrick Schwarzenegger have confirmed that production on the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus has completed in Thailand and the series will return to air in 2025.
Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Sam Nivola, Sarah Catherine Hook, Aimee Lou Wood, Scott Glenn, Lalisa Manobal and others are part of the new season of Mike White’s series.
The news comes after Al Jean, executive producer of The Simpsons, confirmed that one of the show’s upcoming episodes, “The Yellow Lotus,” pokes fun at the series. (Source: X)
Tierra del Fuego
Former “Supernatural” and “Walker” star Jared Padalecki has landed a three-episode appearance in the third season of the hit CBS drama series “Fire Country,” which averages more than 10 million viewers per episode across multiple platforms.
Padalecki plays Camden, a Southern California firefighter and loner with the demeanor of a surfer who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode’s (Max Thieriot) talent. (Source: Variety)
Arcane
Netflix has released another clip from the second and final season of its League of Legends-set animated series Arcane, which returns in November. The clip follows Ella Purnell’s Jinx/Powder as she is captured by crime boss Smeech.
Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underworld of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two legendary champions of the League and the power that will tear them apart.
hysteria
Peacock has released the first trailer for its new horror series “Hysteria!”, which will premiere on October 18 and air simultaneously on USA Network and SYFY. The series stars Julie Bowen, Bruce Campbell, Garret Dillahunt, Anna Camp and more.
The story follows a failing high school heavy metal band of misfits in the 1980s who try to capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult. A bizarre series of murders and “supernatural activity” sparks a witch hunt that leads right back to them.
