Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding: Venue of mass wedding hosted by Nita-Mukesh Ambani shifted to Thane

The countdown to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s big day has begun. After organizing two lavish pre-wedding celebrations, the two families are now finally preparing for the lovebirds’ wedding.

But before their big day, billionaire couple Nita and Mukesh Ambani decided to host a mass wedding for the underprivileged. The event, which was earlier scheduled to take place in Palghar district of Maharashtra, has been shifted to a new venue. Read on to know more!

The venue of a mass wedding organised by the Ambanis was shifted to Thane.

Ahead of the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12, the groom-to-be’s parents Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani decided to organize a mass wedding for the underprivileged. According to the invite to the event, which went viral earlier, it was scheduled to take place on July 2, 2024 (Tuesday) at 4:30 pm at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir, Wada, Palghar district.

However, according to a report in India Today, the mass wedding is now scheduled to take place at 4 pm on the same day at Reliance Corporate Park in Thane.

The Ambanis kicked off the wedding celebrations of the soon-to-be-married couple by organising a puja ceremony at their Mumbai residence Antilia on June 29. Anant is also on the road, personally inviting some of the big names from Bollywood, such as Ajay Devgn-Kajol and Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna.

After his mother, Nita Ambani, flew to Varanasi to present the first wedding invitation to the Lord, the groom-to-be recently did the same at the Krishna Kali Temple in Neral. His sister Isha Ambani and he also performed puja at the temple. As for their wedding, their ‘Shubh Vivaah’ will take place on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

The next day, July 13, is scheduled for a ‘Shubh Aashirdwad’ ceremony, for which guests are requested to come in Indian formal wear. On the last day of the gala, July 14, a ‘Mangal Utsav’ (wedding reception) will be held, and the dress code will be Indian elegant. A Sangeet ceremony is also reportedly planned for July at the Grand Theatre of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
