The store is packed with kitchen utensils, from silverware to baking pans.

Customers rave about Dollar Tree’s Royal Norfolk stainless steel steak knives.

They come in packs of two and have sturdy wooden handles.

The knives look very similar to Target’s Gibson Home Seward knives, which cost $49.99 but are on sale for $29.99.

However, Target offers the knives in packs of four.

Dollar Tree customers rated the knives 4.3 out of five stars.

Customers praised the knives for their durability, with one buyer saying she bought them in 2016 and they were still in good condition in 2022.

“These steak knives were absolutely perfect for serving a steak dinner to a bunch of hungry firefighters,” wrote one shopper who left a five-star review.

“No complaints and plenty of clean plates!”

Another customer said she bought the knives in bulk for her son’s wedding reception, which featured prime rib.

Dollar Tree’s $5 home goods are selling like hotcakes – it’s a copy of a popular Pottery Barn product, but 90% cheaper

“Unfortunately, plastic knives just don’t cut it (literally). Great value for money that didn’t cost a fortune,” she wrote.

She added that ordering online was easy and delivery to the store was free.

DINNER OFFER

Buyers discovered that Royal Norfolk’s stoneware dinner plates were a counterfeit of an expensive Williams-Sonoma plate.

The 10.5-inch players are grey, just like the ones in the Vancouver set of 4 from Le Creuset in French Grey.

The set costs $80, or $20 per plate. Individual plates cost $1.25 at Dollar Tree.

Similar to the knives, buyers were surprised by the quality of the imitation.

Dollar Tree Scammers

Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find imitations of their favorite products

“These plates are quite heavy and thick – surprising quality for the price!! The gray color is a neutral mid-gray,” says one review.

“With proper care they should last a long time…but if not…it’s only…$1!!!”

Another customer said the plates lasted over a year and were not soiled by silver cutlery.

Dollar Tree also offers a $3 copy of a classic Halloween decoration from Michael’s.

A shopper found a Sephora staple for $24 cheaper at Dollar Tree.
