BROOK PARK, OH – Judy, a Brook Park resident, celebrates a surprise $10,000 win on the Ohio Lottery’s Bingo Times 25 scratch-off game.
During a routine check of her tickets using the Ohio Lottery app, Judy discovered that the prize she had initially thought was $5 was actually $10. But the real shock came when she scanned another ticket. “I was completely surprised,” Judy said, describing her reaction when the app showed a $10,000 win. Although she has a knack for predicting scratch-off wins, this time she missed the signs until she checked the ticket.
Judy’s winning ticket was from Smith & Snow Shell, 5918 Smith Road in Brook Park. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28%, she will take home approximately $7,200.
