Best Buy lowers the price of the Motorola Razr+ (2024) again without conditions

As much as they like free stuff (who doesn’t?), many potential Motorola Razr+ (2024) buyers would probably prefer to save a few bucks right now if they foldable phone itself rather than purchasing it at regular price along with free Bose earphones.

If you belong to this camp, there is a new offer from Best Buy that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face: It reduces the $999.99 that is normally charged for Razr Plus (2024) Buyers with no special requirements. This is obviously not a members-only deal and you don’t have to activate the handset with a specific carrier in advance, although if you’re willing to do so you can save another $100.

With a price tag of $899.99 and especially $799.99, this is undoubtedly one of the best foldable devices on the market in terms of value for money. It has, among other things, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that almost as powerful as the “normal” Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The two screens here are larger than on the previously mentioned Z Flip 6, which is of course an important advantage (especially when the overall package is not significantly thicker or heavier), and the battery life and camera performance are also more than impressive… at least.

If there’s one thing we don’t like about this new device, it’s Motorola’s modest promise of just three years of Android updates, which doesn’t come close to Samsung’s legendary long-term software support policy. But the value for money is still compelling, and remarkably, Best Buy is currently eclipsing Amazon’s generosity while matching its arch-rival’s highest price (not Prime-exclusive). Razr Plus (2024) offer.
