‘Top wedding gift’: BTS’ RM sent 10 million KRW as congratulations money to rapper Sleepy after he asked for details via DM

We must say that the BTS leader congratulated his friends on their wedding in a slightly different way. Rapper Sleepy revealed that at his wedding, RM asked him for his bank account number and immediately transferred him a shocking amount as a wedding gift. The rapper recalled the day and said that this gift deserved the first place among the other gifts.

On August 11, rapper Sleepy appeared on KBS’s The Return of the Superman, where he revealed that BTS’ RM sent him 10 million KRW as a wedding gift. Rapper DinDin, who was also present in the studio, shared the backstory of how he got this money from RM.

He said the BTS leader sent Sleepy a direct message after learning about his wedding. After congratulating him, the Wild Flower singer asked for his bank information. Although Sleepy didn’t want a gift, he still sent him the account information. RM surprised him when he received a message that 10 million KRW had been deposited into his account.

Sleepy remembered the old days and said that in his opinion it was still the best wedding present.

Don’t we all deserve a friend like RM?

On tonight’s episode of The Return of Superman, DinDin revealed that Sleepy and RM have known each other for years. He said the duo first met in the underground hip-hop scene in South Korea. Later, as a close bond developed between them, Sleepy introduced the LOST! singer to HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk.

Meanwhile, BTS member RM is currently completing his mandatory military service, which he will begin in December 2023. He has received a lot of recognition for his involvement in the army so far. He is also part of a band in the army and participates in many competitions. He is now scheduled to be discharged in June 2025, when he will return to his leadership duties in BTS.

On the work front, he recently made his solo comeback with Right Place, Wrong Person, an 11-track album whose title track is LOST! The album once again demonstrated his musical ability and courage to experiment with concepts, something only an artist of his stature can do.
