YOU may be able to get this coveted cup holder organizer at an amazingly low price.
Dollar Tree currently has a knockoff of a highly sought-after brand that will be the envy of every motorist you pass.
It turns out that the budget store is currently offering a version of the Rubbermaid Auto Cup Holder for an incredible $1.25.
According to a video uploaded by The Deal Guy, the storage unit retails for nearly $9 on Amazon.
However, there is a catch, as the storage unit is usually not in stock.
The multi-purpose storage unit allows you to store a phone, a drink and “organize your personal belongings.”
According to the YouTuber, the different brands are difficult to distinguish.
“The Rubbermaid Mobile 3319-20 Cup Holder Organizer fits most console cup holders and provides additional storage space around the existing cup holder,” says the item description on Amazon.
“The central opening can hold cups, bottles and mugs with handles, while the two additional side compartments can hold smaller loose items such as mobile phones, music players, notepads and coins.”
“The outermost compartment features a power cord pass-through for easy charging while on the go, and non-slip handles keep the organizer securely in place.”
“The user-friendly cup holder organizer is easy to clean by simply wiping the surface with a soft, damp cloth or placing it in the dishwasher.”
Many users expressed their satisfaction with their purchase.
“I needed something to store my phone and other small items and this worked quite well,” commented one user.
“It was a little too high for where I wanted to use it, so I cut about 19mm off the bottom of the cup holder to lower it.”
“This also made it a little less top-heavy and solved the problem of my cups sticking to the cup holder. A very useful part,” they concluded.
“I needed more storage in my 2008 Ranger regular cab pickup. The truck had a double cup holder and a small storage compartment on the floor, that’s all,” a second person explained.
Dollar Tree Scammers
Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find imitations of their favorite products
“I bought two of these and adjusted them to fit the two existing cup holders. I still have my cup holders and now have a little more storage space too. Nice heavy plastic, I wish the shelves were a little bigger.”
This is not the only scam that frugal shoppers have noticed.
Earlier this month, a shopper noticed that Dollar Tree also offered an alternative to Vaseline All-Over Body Balm.
The Vaseline brand, which normally retails for $11, makes Dollar Tree’s Xtra Care Body Balm an even more attractive option.
Although Vaseline is a household name, Xtra Care Body Balm offers its users the same moisturizing experience at a reduced price.
“I got 12. Great for use at work, school, car, etc,” one Facebook user wrote about the product.
Another user, equally excited about the huge savings, said he “definitely has to try this!”
