Athletics: Women’s marathon started!

What else happens on the 16th day of Paris 2024?

While the women’s marathon is underway, here’s what you can expect on the final day of Paris 2024.

The last 13 gold medals will take place before the closing ceremony in the evening in Stade de France.

In the Bercy Arena, the Women’s Basketball Final (3:30 p.m.) is the final event of the entire Games. Team USA is expected to eighth title in a row.

Cycling (track) – Jason Kenny’s successor has been chosen

On Velodrome Saint-Quentin-en-YvelinesThe last three track cycling finals will take place, including Keirin for men (1:32 p.m.).

Closing ceremony brings the curtain down

After all the events are completed, it is time to celebrate the last 16 days. Stade de France is hosting the Closing ceremony (9 p.m.), an opportunity for the athletes to exchange ideas and think about future Olympic Games.

In addition, there is the eagerly awaited change from Paris 2024 to Los Angeles 2028.

And when the Olympic cauldron goes out, attention turns to the Paralympic Games, which begin on August 28, and Milan Cortina 2026the next Winter Olympics, in just under a year and a half.
