Aggression in traffic does not end well for Ford Escape

You’ve probably noticed that road rage is a growing problem in your area. Most people believe that the area they live in is one of the worst, if not the worst, place in the country where angry drivers aggressively attack others. But few have caught a road rage incident like this one in Dallas, Texas, on video.

Watch a Tesla and a diesel pickup truck engage in an aggressive battle behind the wheel.

During the fight on a freeway crossing, someone in a Ford Escape crossover decides to block a Ram truck with an empty trailer from passing. The small Ford brakes the much larger, heavier truck and swerves as the other driver tries to move into the other lane.

This standoff causes traffic to back up behind us, and our first camera car honks as the driver is clearly frustrated with the dangerous blockage on the highway. However, that is not enough to shame the Escape driver and make him drop things, as this person keeps swerving to prevent the Ram from passing.

Eventually the Ram hits the accelerator and the Escape is late in blocking, the truck rams it (and lives up to its name). As the pickup passes the Ford, the trailer gets caught in the front bumper cover and rips it off.

Many people find it difficult to feel sympathy for the Ford driver. While we don’t know what happened beforehand, even if the Ram driver did something dangerous or rude, this behavior is inexcusable.

Ultimately, the Ford driver could not escape the consequences of his actions and will now likely face a hefty repair bill. Local news station WFAA reached out to Dallas police to see if anyone has been charged in connection with the incident, but they had not received a response.
