Road report from Thursday. For August 12-18:
Due to road/utility work, road closures are to be expected at the following locations:
2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will remain closed to westbound traffic due to construction until June 30, 2025.
Curry Street between Park Street and Adams Street will be closed to northbound traffic until August 23 for utility work.
Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed on Thursday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Snyder Avenue between Center Drive and Wa-Pai-Shone Avenue will be closed to through traffic until August 29 for utility work.
There will be temporary one-lane closures on US 50 between Russell Way and Empire Ranch Road on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Due to road/utility works, lane restrictions must be expected at the following locations:
A flag post will be posted at the intersection of 5th Street and Hells Bells Road Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
5th Street between Hells Bells Road and Marsh Road will be alternating one-way traffic with occasional intersection closures Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Asphalt patching will be performed on Bunch Way Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expect temporary road closures and lane narrowing.
Shoulder work will take place on Carson Street, near the intersection with Silver Oak Drive, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through August 16.
Clearview Drive between Silver Sage Drive and the I-580 overpass will have lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August 23.
Asphalt patching work will be carried out on Dori Way from Tuesday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expect temporary road closures and lane narrowing.
There will be lane closures or narrowings on Lompa Lane between Sherman Lane and Lincoln Highway from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
There will be limited lanes on Mallory Way near 800 Mallory Way Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be lane closures or lane reductions on Northridge Drive between Eastridge Drive and Lompa Lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
Asphalt patching works will be carried out on Poole Way from Tuesday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm. Expect temporary road closures and lane narrowing.
Asphalt patching will be performed on Roberta Way Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Expect temporary road closures and lane narrowing.
There will be fewer lanes on Saliman Road between William Street and Seely Loop Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Curb work will occur on Silver Sage Drive between Pat Lane and Chateau Drive Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Asphalt patching works will be carried out on Sneddon Way from Tuesday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm. Expect temporary road closures and lane narrowing.
The hard shoulder will be closed on William Street between Oxoby Loop and Saliman Road. The cycle path will be closed and trucks will be able to enter and exit the road from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
There will be lane change and flag enforcement at all intersections on Winnie Lane between Mountain Street and Carson Street Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
