Gina Gershon reveals that her first sex scene didn’t exactly go according to plan.

The Borderland Actress recently appeared at See what’s happening livewhere she said that her “first love scene ever” was with Tom Cruise in 1988 cocktailand noted that he was an absolute “gentleman”. However, she was mortified when she accidentally “kneeded him right in the nose” during filming.

“At one point he started snuggling under the covers and I told him I was very ticklish,” Gershon told host Andy Cohen. “I said, ‘No, no, don’t ever do that again.’ And in one take – I think he wanted a reaction – he grabbed me by the stomach and I kneed him right in the nose.”

She continued, “I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just broke Tom Cruise’s nose.’ He was like, ‘No, no, you told me.’ I was like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ He was like, ‘No, it was my fault.’ And he was so overprotective of me. He was amazing.”

Gershon played Coral, a photographer who cheats on Brian with his business partner Doug (Bryan Brown), which is why Brian initially decides to move to Jamaica.

Gershon also told Cohen that Cruise’s then-wife Mimi Rogers – they were married from 1987 to 1990 – was “very present” on set during the filming of the romantic comedy, as they “had just gotten married.” But the Killer Joe The actress noted that she and Cruise “kissed as much as we could” in the film.

She added: “Every scene was like, ‘Should we kiss in the scene?’ ‘Oh yeah, I think we should kiss.'”
