Iconic country music group heads to New England for 25th anniversary tour

Legendary country music group Rascal Flatts is fulfilling the wishes of their fans by reuniting for a 25th anniversary tour that includes two stops in New England.

“It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be Rascal Flatts’ 25th anniversary,” the band said on social media on Tuesday, October 1. “This felt like the perfect time to get back in front of YOU who gave us this much.”

The multi-platinum country trio’s 21-date Life Is A Highway Tour begins February 13, 2025 in Evansville, Indiana and ends April 5, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida. Fans wishing to purchase tickets for the tour can do so through reliable third-party ticket providers such as StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek.

While Rascal Flatts’ tour will not stop in Massachusetts, the group will play the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on March 13, 2025 and the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on March 14, 2025.

Country stars Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will serve as opening acts. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, October 4th at 10 a.m. local time. For more information about the tour, visit the Rascal Flatts website.

Rascal Flatts consists of singer Gary LeVox, multi-instrumentalist Jay DeMarcus and guitarist Joe Don Rooney.

The band is known for hits such as “Life Is a Highway,” “Prayin’ for Daylight,” “Bless the Broken Road” and “What Hurts the Most” and peaked at No. 14 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

The trio burst onto the country music scene in 2000 with their self-titled debut album, Rascal Flatts. Rascal Flatts’ second album, “Melt,” followed in 2002, which topped the charts and spawned the group’s first No. 1 country hit, “These Days.” ”

Rascal Flatt’s next four albums – “Feels Like Today” (2004), “Me and My Gang” (2006), “Still Feels Good” (2007) and “Unstoppable” (2009) – all debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 charts. The band has released 10 studio albums, their last studio album was 2017’s “Back to Us”.

Rascal Flatts won the CMA Awards’ Vocal Group of the Year award six years in a row from 2003 to 2008. The band has also taken home dozens of other country music awards and is a four-time Grammy nominee. The band was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2011 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.

Rascal Flatts originally announced their disbandment and farewell tour after 20 years together in 2020, Billboard reported. However, this tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to ABC News, Rascal Flatts officially split up in October 2021, so this upcoming tour will be a reunion for the decorated trio.
