The films are available to stream, but no longer on Disney+. The films were migrated to Paramount+ as Paramount Pictures retained distribution rights to these films following Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012. All four Indiana Jones Movies were brought to streaming on Disney+ in 2023 The Dial of Destiny is in theaters, but the streaming license agreement has now expired. Binging all five parts of the film series now requires two separate streaming service subscriptions.

The Indiana Jones franchise has reached its conclusion (for now).

There are no known plans at Disney or Lucasfilm to move forward with another film Indiana Jones project at this point. Harrison Ford has hinted that he is done playing Indy, so a possible sequel or spin-off would have to focus on other characters from the franchise. A possible spin-off could see Ke Huy Quan return as an older Short Round after fans were disappointed by his absence The Dial of Destiny. The Oscar-winning actor would be up for the project if the opportunity arises.

“If Disney or Lucasfilm ever come to me and say, ‘We want to do a Short Round spinoff,’ I’m there, man!” Quan said on Happy, sad, confused Podcast last year. “I love this character so much and it would be incredible to revisit him so many years later.”

Another possibility could be to further explore Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Helena Shaw character after her appearance in The Dial of Destiny. While she noted that there is no one to replace Ford’s Indiana Jones, Waller-Brdige felt that a spin-off starring her character would have some story potential.

“There is in no way a replacement for Indiana Jones,” she told Vanity Fair. “But I feel like the character herself – she felt fresh on the page, and I feel like, is there room in the world for someone like that? So I think there’s room for a slightly more awkward, injured, limping woman action star perhaps in the future.

There is in no way a replacement for Indiana Jones.
