Navigating the Topsfield Fair: Where to Find Restrooms, Parking, and Food (Map)

The 2024 Topsfield Fair officially opens for an 11-day run on Friday, October 4th and runs through Monday, October 14th.

But do you know where you’re going?

The Topsfield Fair, located at 207 Boston St. in Topsfield on the North Shore, has provided fairgoers with a map of restroom locations, parking and more.

Below you will find more information about some of these areas:

  • Parking spaces: Several parking lots surround the Topsfield Fair on Route 1 (Lot C) and Route 97 (Lot E). Additional parking is available on weekends at Fair-View Farm on Route 1 North and at North Shore Community College. Shuttle buses will take you to and from the fair via the Race Rear gate. Parking is free in all lots on opening day, but starting on the first Friday it is $15.
  • Entrance gates: The main gate is located directly across from Lot C, on Route 1. Public Security is to the left of the entrance, while the Administration Building is to the right. There are also gates leading to the fair from the Maple Street lot (Lot D), the River Gate lot (Lot A), and the Route 97 lot (Lot E).
  • Information stands: The fair’s three information booths are located in the Main Gate, the River Gate and near the Fair Trade Building in Coolidge Square. Here you can find out about daily events, get a trade show schedule, ask questions or report concerns.
  • The middle ground: You can access Midway via Rabbit Road via Arena Road or directly across from the arena entrance. Here you will find a range of games and rides, from children’s rides to family rides to thrill rides.
  • The Arena: The arena entrance is located across Midway Off Arena Road. Events held here include horse or ox pulling, sheepdog trials, tractor pulling, “Touch a Tractor”, horse shows, figure eight racing and the Demolition Derby.
  • Souvenir stands: The Topsfield Fair has two souvenir stands: one at the main gate and one in front of the Fair Trade Building.
  • Lost and found: All lost and found items should be brought to the administration building, located near the main gate. There is also another “Lost and Found in the Midway” in the Fiesta Show office.
  • bathroom: Portable toilets are scattered throughout the fairgrounds. You can find them in Coolidge Square next to Coolidge Hall, entering the Midway, in the Arena, on Cattle Road behind the Kids’ Safe Zone, in Lot E, and immediately after entering through the River Gate Lot (Lot A).
  • Grandstand: If you’re going to the Topsfield Fair to see Maddie & Tae, 38 Special or Three Dog Night, you can go to the grandstand between the poultry and fruit/vegetable barns at Oval North.

Now in its 206th year, the Topsfield Fair features an exhibition of local livestock, agriculture, food, rides, vendors and performances.

Topsfield Fair hours vary. You can find a daily schedule on the trade fair website.
