The fast food chain will soon bring a fan-favorite international menu item, the Chicken Big Mac, to U.S. locations — and customers are already excited.

Starting Thursday, October 10, the Chicken Big Mac, a poultry version of the popular Big Mac sandwich, will be available nationwide for a limited time only, while supplies last, according to a new press release from McDonald’s.

The chicken-based sandwich is just like the classic Big Mac, with the same toppings, except instead of two beef patties, customers can enjoy two tempura-breaded chicken patties, the release states.

Aside from a brief test stint in Miami in 2022, the Chicken Big Mac has only been available at international locations so far, giving U.S. fans plenty to celebrate if they’re thinking about snagging one of the coveted sandwiches this month.

Food news lover Markie Devo shared the news on Instagram, exciting users about the restaurant’s new additions.

“I’ve wanted this for YEARS😂😂😂,” one user wrote under Devo’s post on Thursday, October 3.

Someone else chimed in and said, “I can’t wait.”

The Chicken Big Mac’s arrival in the US was first speculated over the summer when another food news Instagram account, Snackolatorteased his return in August.

“This should be good!” one excited fan wrote on Instagram at the time, while another added: “BIG YES!!!”

The Chicken Big Mac will be available at all McDonald’s locations starting Thursday, October 10, while supplies last.
