Coly’s manager confirmed the star’s death in an Instagram post on Thursday: “Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you brother. My heart is torn in half. Wait for me up there,” before changing the caption to a heart emoji.

The now-edited post continues: “Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There’s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas,” he added. “We used to talk about our problems all the time but smile for the fans. So many people hurt us over and over again, but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now. I would be a hypocrite if I told you. “You don’t, and I do the same.”

Coly immigrated to the USA at the age of 8 and became famous on the Vine platform 10 years ago. He is also known for his popular hit song “I Just Wanna.”
