Three day grace period now has two singers.

The “Just Like You” rockers have announced their original frontman Adam Gontier has rejoined the band. He will sing together with the current singer Matt Walstwho has fronted Three Days Grace since Gontier’s departure in 2013.

In a Facebook post, Three Days Grace said they entered the studio with Gontier after performing with him at a Nashville concert in 2023.

“I feel like it went smoothly, better than we expected,” Gontier says of the reunion. “It’s like we went back into a room together and picked up where we left off. We’ve been friends for so long that it’s natural to get back in the room together. “

“It was so much fun and inspiring to make this record,” Walst adds. “Over 20 years of bringing Three Days Grace together and doing something no band has ever done. I’m excited for the fans to hear it!”

Gontier sang on Three Days Grace’s first four albums, which included hits such as “Just Like You,” “I Hate Everything About You” and “Animal I Have Become,” before abruptly leaving the band after the 2012 release Transit of Venus. The group then recruited Walst, the bassist’s younger brother Brad Walstand released three more albums: 2015 Human2018 outsider and 2022 Explosions.
