On Thursday (October 3), the 26-year-old rapper took to social media to reveal that he and the 24-year-old Little Mermaid The actress had separated.

“After much thought and heartfelt discussions, hall and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision wasn’t easy, but we believe it is the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we spent together and the love we shared. Despite the change in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

DDG continued, adding, “We are still best friends and love each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared. We ask for your understanding and support as we navigate this transition.”

He concluded by writing, “Thank you for your love and encouragement.”
