Gilmore Girls co-stars Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia shared a romance on and off the small screen. The couple portrayed Rory Gilmore and Jess Mariano, respectively, in the popular 2000s series. Their characters dated on and off throughout the series, and in the real world, the actors dated for four years before breaking up (…)

After a short laugh, Brody replied that he didn’t think Dave had been around long enough to realize his true intentions.

“No, he hasn’t been around that long,” said Brody, who only appeared in nine episodes of the show. “We don’t know how he would have fared in the long run. He could have bombed her out of love.”

WebMD defines love bombing as a means of “emotional manipulation” in which a person showers someone with attention and compliments in an attempt to ultimately control them. One method might be to make a grand gesture to the other person—like reading the Bible cover to cover in one night to win the favor of your crush’s deeply religious mother.

It doesn’t seem to be Dave’s character, but we’ll never know. He and Lane (Keiko Agena) broke up shortly after Dave left for college in California.

Agena, 50, spoke about her character’s relationship with Dave in an interview with E! News in June, where she admitted that Lane probably kept thinking about Dave after their breakup.

”As rock ‘n’ roll as she is, I think she would be pretty honest, but I think there’s a little bit of heartache in this relationship,” she explained. “Maybe a few daydreams. I don’t know if she would ever make anything happen, but a friendship for sure.”

Lane eventually married Zack Van Gerbig (Todd Lowe) and the two had twins, so Agena emphasized that these daydreams didn’t go any further.

“Lane is still with Zack, but she writes really bad fantasy fan fiction,” she added. “Like another world of a freer lane.”

Gilmore Girls And Nobody wants that are both available to stream on Netflix.
