Jennifer Aniston refutes the wildest rumors written about her: “That’s a little true”

Jennifer Aniston has addressed several outlandish stories written about her during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

The “Friends” alum, 55, dispelled a series of wild headlines during a game of true-or-false with Kimmel on Wednesday after the host presented her with a copy of the August issue of InTouch magazine.

The cover features Aniston side-by-side with Barack Obama, with the caption “The Truth About Jen and Barack.”

After the audience erupted in laughter at the network’s baseless claim that the actress had developed a close friendship with the former president, Aniston called the story false.

“Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like, ‘Oh no, what’s that supposed to be?’ or the email that says ‘some cheesy tabloid is going to make up a story’… and then that’s it. I wasn’t mad about it,” she joked.

“That is absolutely untrue,” she clarified, adding that she had only met the 44th US president once and actually “knows Michelle (Obama) better.”

Kimmel then read a series of headlines about the “Morning Show” star.

“Oh, well, we’re dispelling the rumors, I like that,” she said as Kimmel read out the claims.

Aniston denied rumors that she installed a “$4,000 anti-aging water filter” in her home for her dogs and the claim that she boasts a “black belt in ju-jitsu.”

However, she clarified a few other strange headlines that turned out to be true.

Among other things, the actress admitted to enjoying a salmon sperm facial, traveling abroad with jars full of olives and being approached by a fan naked in the sauna for a selfie.

She was also asked if she really had “a Zip-Loc bag” filled with “her dead therapist’s ashes.”

“Can I invoke the (fifth)? That’s a little true… I’m going to sound like I really need a therapist after this,” she shared.

“Sounds like you need one or the other,” Kimmel quipped.

Aniston spoke about carrying her late therapist’s ashes back in 2012 in an interview with GQ.

“I have my therapist’s ashes in a bag. She viewed me as a kind of daughter and I viewed her as a kind of mother. I went to her funeral. They divided them into little Ziploc bags that they handed out like party favors,” she told the outlet at the time.

Elsewhere, Kimmel questioned whether Aniston’s family would really make her belly dance in front of guests every Christmas Eve.

Later in the series, Aniston’s beloved pooch Clyde paid a visit. Jimmy Kimmel Live

“No, just Christmas Eve,” she said. “(It was) like saying to your child, ‘Play piano for everyone’ or ‘Let’s sing for everyone’.”

“I am very afraid when my friends do this to their children because I have an internal trauma from having to perform belly dance and dance for my Greek aunts, uncles and grandmothers. I understand,” she added.
