Rita Ora, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Oscar Ortiz and more new music artist signings

Range Media Partners signed Rita Ora and will represent the multi-hyphenate in all areas including music, film/television and advertising. According to a press release, Ora has racked up more than 10 billion streams worldwide and landed four UK No. 1 singles. In the US, she reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 with a guest appearance on Iggy Azalea’s 2014 hit “Black Widow”. Her latest single is “Ask & You Shall Receive”. She also recently began her second season as a panelist on The Masked Singer and starred in the Disney+ original film Descendants: Rise of Red. Ora is currently working on new music to be released early next year. She continues to be represented by CAA for film/TV, Wasserman for tours and Peter Paterno And Joe Carlone at KHPS Law.

BLACKPINK member rose signed a global contract with Atlantic Recordsin management partnership with THEBLACKLABEL. As announced on Tuesday (October 1st), rose will release her debut solo album, Rosieon December 6th. The singer first gained worldwide fame as a member of the best-selling K-pop girl group. In 2021, her solo single “On the Ground” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts.

Sony Music Latin signed emerging regional Mexican artist Oscar Ortizwho has written songs for major acts in the genre, including his brothers Gerardo Ortiz and Kevin Ortiz. “At just 22 years old, Oscar has repeatedly demonstrated his exceptional talent as a performer and composer, making him one of the most promising voices in contemporary Mexican music.” Alex GallardoPresident of Sony Music Latin said in a statement. Earlier this year, Ortiz scored his first No. 1 ranking at any level billboard Thanks to “First Love,” his collaboration with Edgardo Nuñez, he reached number one on the regional Mexican airplay rankings. “Reaching this point in my career has been a very long process, but it has been absolutely worth it,” Oscar added of his deal with Sony Music Latin. – Griselda Flores

Electronic artist Boris Brecha signed with WME for worldwide representation outside North America. In April Brejcha released his ninth studio album, Stage oneand released the single “Save My Soul” with Diplo in September. In 2015 he founded the music label Fckng Serious, whose members include Ann Clue, Deniz Bul, Frieder & Jakob, Julian Wasserman and Moritz Hofbauer. In 2022, he founded a second label, Yellow Kitchen, releasing music from artists such as Prevision, photographed by Stanley, Visual Impact, Concious and Fifty Five.

Frontiers Label Group founded a new rock and alternative label called FLG and signed a British rock band Skunk Anansie to his squad. Formed in 1994, the band scored two top 10 albums in the UK – 1995 Paranoid and sunburned and 1996s Stooshsays a press release. After the release of his third album, 1998 Post-orgasmic chillIn 2001, the band went on hiatus before reforming in 2008 and releasing several more albums. BMG And Lucky Kid Syndrome has teamed up to sign an up-and-coming Shanghai-based singer, DJ, producer and songwriter Chace to a global record deal. Country/rock singer-songwriter Kasey Tyndall signed with MNRK music and released “Not As I’ve Done,” the first single from her upcoming self-titled album, expected to be released early next year. She is scheduled to open for Ian Munsick and Ella Langley at several shows in the US through November. “Bringing Kasey to MNRK is one of the highlights of my 17 years here,” said MNRK Senior Vice President of Rock Scott Givens in a statement. “She is a world-class talent who masterfully pushes the boundaries of country and rock. All of us at MNRK look forward to putting the full weight of the company behind her as she enters the next phase of her career.” Tyndall is managed by Lindsey Ray at The Steadfast Company.

Sub Pop signed rock band from Seattle Deep sea diverled by guitarist and singer Jessica Dobson. The group’s latest release, “Billboard Heart,” is the first song from their upcoming album, due out early next year. It will be the band’s first album since 2020 Impossible weight. Deep Sea Diver notably supported Pearl Jam on several dates in 2023 and 2024.

Mom+pop music signed indie rock band The Kilans and released his new single “Colonel”. The Salt Lake City-based group consists of Jack Ongman, Jacob Shultz, Cooper Brezoff and David Wiseman. The Kilans previously released the singles “Curly” and “Why is it Light Out?”. and will announce tour dates soon.

Madison Baileyknown for her leading role in the Netflix series Outer Bankssigned with Records of the Republic and released her debut single “The Grey.” Bailey is expected to release more new music soon.
