Sanyo Incognito SCP-6760 cell phone at Sprint

Striking combination of illuminated keyboard with multimedia functionality and full QWERTZ keyboard

Sprint and Kyocera Communications Inc., providers of Kyocera and SANYO branded wireless devices, today announced the launch of the SANYO Incognito™ SCP-6760. Packed with media and messaging features, Incognito features a high-gloss titanium black mirror finish that comes to life when the phone’s light-up keyboard and external OLED display are activated. When unfolded, the phone features a full QWERTY keyboard and a high-resolution 2.6-inch QVGA display. Optimized for Sprint’s high-speed EVDO network, Incognito will be available exclusively online on November 30, known as “Cyber Monday,” and in all Sprint retail channels beginning December 6, for the low price of $49.99 after a $50 rebate when returned with a new two-year service contract (all device prices exclude taxes).

When idle, Incognito is simple and elegant, but the illuminated keyboard is easily activated by touch and provides vibrating “haptic” feedback when keys are pressed, making it extremely user-friendly. With a 2.0 megapixel camera, enhanced music and video features, and expandable microSD™ storage, Incognito offers quick access to the web, email, and text messages.

Mega-messengers and social networkers alike will want to take advantage of the device’s easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard and messaging capabilities. Sprint offers affordable Everything Data plans with the Any Mobile, Anytime℠ feature, which removes restrictive calling circles and allows unlimited nationwide calling on the Sprint network to and from any U.S. cell phone, regardless of carrier. These plans are available for individuals and families and include unlimited cell-to-cell talk, unlimited texting and data starting at just $69.99 per month (all plans exclude surcharges and taxes).

With its amazing combination of style and functionality for under $50, it’s one of the safest gift ideas you’ll find this year.”

Incognito includes popular media and messaging applications such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter directly from your Sprint One Click carousel; Sprint Navigation’s voice and on-screen instructions with step-by-step guidance; Sprint NFL Mobile Live, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile and real-time scores and stats; and Sprint Mobile Email for access to AOL, Yahoo, WindowsLive™, Gmail and corporate email.
