Sunbelt Rentals Film and TV has added 18 Euro 6 lighting trucks with Level 5 generator engines to its ever-growing sustainable fleet. These trucks are fitted with Level 5 generator engines, demonstrating their commitment to providing the industry with innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. This £3 million investment demonstrates their commitment to supporting the film and TV industry in their transition to implementing more sustainable practices in production.

The vehicles are equipped with Level 5 generators that can deliver up to 250 kW to provide customers with a complete on-site power and light solution. The integrated technology also automatically activates the generator to recharge the battery when needed, reducing overall energy consumption and therefore the overall cost of productions.

Sunbelt Rentals is committed to sustainability through its ‘Our Planet’ sustainability action plan. The launch of the new trucks is the next step in its strategic approach to low carbon technologies and environmentally conscious solutions aimed at reducing emissions, minimising waste and saving energy. Their commitment to this cause is further demonstrated by their Albert Green accreditation, which underlines their efforts to work with the industry to reduce their carbon footprint.
