Oasis may not have achieved the same popularity in the U.S. as virtually everywhere else, but the Brit-pop band still says they’re coming to North America as part of their reunion tour.

“America. “Oasis is coming,” the band said in a statement. “You have one last chance to prove that you have loved us all along.”

The band will play Toronto on August 24th, Chicago on August 28th, East Rutherford, New Jersey on August 31st, Los Angeles on September 6th and Mexico City on September 12th, with Cage the Elephant as opener. General ticket sales open on Friday.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, who have fallen out for decades, are putting their differences aside for the tour, which will end a 15-year hiatus. Ticket sales are underway for other dates around the world, but extreme demand and dynamic ticket prices frustrated fans and prompted the band to introduce a new “invitation only” system.

“Interest in this tour is inevitably so overwhelming that it is impossible to schedule enough shows to meet public demand,” Oasis said in its Monday statement. “But this ticket sales strategy will make the process much smoother for fans by reducing the stress and time it takes to get your hands on one of the hottest tickets of our time.”
