How to watch Houston Astros and Guardians on Sunday, channel, stream and lineups

The Houston Astros, champions of the American League West, play their final game of the regular season on Sunday against the Cleveland Guardians, champions of the American League Central.

After winning the first two games of this three-game weekend series, the Astros will be looking to complete the sweep against a team they could potentially face at some point in the postseason.

On the mound for Houston is right guard Ryan Gusto, who will make his major league debut.

The 25-year-old Gusto had a solid season in Triple-A with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, posting a 3.70 ERA in 148 1/3 innings pitched with a 1.27 WHIP and 141 strikeouts in 29 games.

Gusto was named PCL Pitcher of the Week once and PCL Pitcher of the Month once this season.

Here’s how the Astros will line up for Game 162 on Sunday:

1.) 2B Jose Altuve
2.) RF Kyle Tucker
3.) 3B Alex Bregman
4.) DH Yainer Diaz
5.) 1B Zach Dezenzo
6.) SS Jeremy Pena
7.) LF Jason Heyward
8.) CF Mauricio Dubon
9.) Cesar Salazar

The Guardians will counter with a right-handed starter of their own: Nick Sandlin (8-0, 3.75 ERA).

In his last appearance as an opener, Sandlin allowed no earned runs with no hits and two walks while recording two strikeouts in one inning.

He played against this Houston team once this season, two days ago out of the bullpen.

In that appearance, the right-hander allowed no earned runs on four hits and no walks while recording one strikeout in 1 2/3 innings.

It’s been an up and down season for Sandlin, but Cleveland is hoping he can give them a strong first inning to set up their replacement well so they have a chance to win and avoid being defeated in their final series before the postseason .
