Russell Wilson was listed among the Pittsburgh Steelers’ inactive players on Sunday, according to a team press release. Since the QB had a calf injury, he was ranked 3rd. QB” listed Justin Fields starts for the fourth game in a row.

The Steelers (3-0) face the Indianapolis Colts on the road at 1 p.m. ET. Fields, a former first-round pick of the Chicago Bears, was selected over Wilson this year due to Wilson’s injury.

Head coach Mike Tomlin talked about deciding who the starting QB will be when Wilson is healthy.

“Sometimes in this business there are countless complex decisions to be made. I’ve learned to do them when appropriate. And it’s not necessary since we’re sitting here right now,” Tomlin said.

“When Russ reaches a reasonable level of health and we need to make a decision, I will make it and announce it, and I will be really transparent about it. But until then… I have no intention of making the decision, which is unnecessary at this point.”
