Saints RB Alvin Kamara (hip/ribs) and WR Chris Olave (hamstring) are both expected to play against the Falcons

New Orleans Saints Running back Alvin Kamara (hip/ribs) and wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring) are both expected to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Kamara and Olave are officially active.

Kamara appeared on the injury report for the first time this season and missed Wednesday’s practice due to the injuries. He was upgraded to limited participation over the next two days and had a questionable rating heading into the weekend, but ultimately the two injuries shouldn’t keep him off the field in Atlanta.

Kamara got off to a hot start to the season and was a key piece in the Saints’ first offensive explosion. He currently ranks fourth in the league with 285 rush yards. He had 115 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in New Orleans’ dominant week in a win over the Cowboys.

Olave, like Kamara, was questionable after suffering the hamstring injury during Friday’s practice and should now join Kamara in being available for the Week 4 matchup against an NFC South opponent.

So far this season, Olave has 12 catches for 178 yards, both team highs, and had 81 and 86 yards in the last two weeks, respectively.

New Orleans (2-1) and Atlanta (1-2) kick off on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
