The Kansas City Chiefs need more receiving options to replace pending free agents and underperforming players. The 2025 NFL Draft is expected to feature over a dozen wide receivers with top-100 potential.

Georgia Bulldogs pass catcher Dillon Bell is in that mix, but the Chiefs could snag him as early as the fourth round depending on the outcome of the college season.

Bell is a stocky receiver who uses his 6-foot-1, 220-pound frame to overwhelm defenders after the catch. He drops his shoulder to bury defenders and finishes plays by falling forward. Bell also gains with volatility, using his sharp open-field cuts to evade defenders. He lacks home run speed, but creates powerful plays with his impressive physical abilities.

Bell’s stature and creativity make him an outlet for planned moves. Wide receiver screens, end-arounds and snaps in the backfield are all in his wheelhouse.

Bell will need to refine his release package to combat press coverage, but his quick footwork and active hands suggest he has the tools to overcome aggressive cornerbacks. He quickly accelerates off the line of scrimmage to force defenders vertical before making sharp cuts from the trunk of the route.

Bell displays excellent body control while making catches on the sideline. He suffers from some lapses in concentration, but comes through in important moments for Georgia.

The Bulldogs used their bye week last Saturday to prepare for their Sept. 28 showdown against the Alabama Crimson Tide at 7:30 p.m

The Crimson Tide is the first of four SEC schools listed in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll, in which Georgia is participating this year.
