Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris plans to troll Donald Trump over his refusal to participate in a second debate during Saturday’s college football game between Alabama and Georgia.

At the same time, the campaign will air a national commercial repeating the same message. “Winners never back down from a challenge,” says the ad’s narrator. “Champions know that it can be done anytime, anywhere. But losers, they whine and complain and take their ball home.”

Harris previously accepted CNN’s invitation to a debate on October 23 and subsequently urged Trump to do the same. Hours later, Trump told a crowd of supporters in North Carolina that Harris “wants to do a debate with CNN right before the election because she’s losing badly.”

He has always insisted that he would not take part in further debates after the September meeting, where he ranted incoherently and repeatedly lost his temper. Since then, viewers and experts have agreed that he lost badly.

CNN also reported Saturday that Trump has “privately flirted with the idea of ​​meeting Harris on the debate stage again,” despite public statements to the contrary.
