Ryan Murphy started his Monster franchise with a dramatic take on the life of Jeffrey Dahmer, and now he’s treating the Menendez brothers the same way Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendezwhich arrives on Netflix this week. You can find even more true crime here Little Miss Innocent Hulu tells the story of Kaitlyn Conley, a woman who was convicted of poisoning her ex-boyfriend’s mother but maintains her innocence and fights for her release from prison. If organized crime is more your thing, The penguin arrives at Max’s this week. Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, one of Gotham City’s most notorious villains, the series also stars Cristin Milioti.

Ryan Murphy sheds light on one of the most notorious crimes of the last few decades in the new Netflix series Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendezwhich is published this week. The story of the California brothers convicted of murdering their parents (played here by Chloe Sevigny and Javier Bardem) has been grist for the mill since 1989, and the new series looks at the events before and after the murders from all angles.

The penguinwhich is based on the character Colin Farrell, comes from Matt Reeves’ The BatmanCo-stars Farrell and Cristin Milioti, who plays rival gangster Sofia Falcone. The show premiered on Thursday night but will re-air this weekend, with subsequent new episodes airing weekly on Sundays on HBO and Max.

The new Hulu docuseries Little Miss Innocent: Passion. Poison. Jail., produced by ABC News, is the story of Kaitlyn Conley, a woman convicted of murdering her ex-boyfriend’s mother. Over the course of the show, Conley attempts to clear her name and offer alternative theories to the woman’s 2015 murder during an interview from prison.
