Did Ms. Terry Beat Nick Saban With Her College GameDay Picks?

The Guest Picker is a key part of the final segment of ESPN College GameDay as the panel of renowned analysts debate the winner of nine of Saturday’s top matchups.

Typically, the guest voter is a movie star or athlete closely associated with the school hosting the weekly College GameDay show.

Shortly after retiring on Jan. 10, Nick Saban, who won six national championships at Alabama, joined ESPN College GameDay as an analyst. Ms. Terry Saban, the wife of the legendary former Alabama football head coach, was announced as the guest selection on Friday and broke the news with a massive statement.

“I’ve already been working on my picks and I think I’ll beat Nick (Saban),” Ms. Terry said during the announcement.

“I don’t know why Nick is so worried about my choices,” Ms. Terry said as she made her selection. “He always wants to see her. That’s just how he is. He’s very competitive in everything.”

Even though all the games on the ninth list come to an end, she has officially kept her word and correctly predicted three more games than her husband.

Ms. Terry’s varied selections of Notre Dame over Louisville, North Carolina over Duke and Colorado over Central Florida gave her victory over her husband.

However, they only had three differences as they each chose: Kansas State over Oklahoma State (correct), BYU over Baylor (correct), Ole Miss over Kentucky (incorrect), and Oklahoma over Auburn (correct).

Alabama vs. Georgia and Penn State vs. Illinois were the pair’s other joint favorites, but those games have yet to begin.

“After 52 years (of marriage), I know that if she wins, it’s going to cost me something,” Nick Saban said during the selection segment.

What will this cost him now that this has become a reality?
