Will Sheppard finally enjoys a standout performance in Saturday afternoon’s Colorado Football game against the UCF Knights.

After a tough performance last week against Baylor that included a dropped pass in the crucial minute, the Vanderbilt transfer made a statement late in the first quarter at FBC Mortgage Stadium. On a third-and-long from the UCF 47-yard line, quarterback Shedeur Sanders dropped back and connected with Sheppard on a leaping touchdown catch just inside the goal line.

Sheppard’s first touchdown in a Buffs jersey gave Colorado a 14-7 lead over UCF.
