My $1.25 Tree lipstick gets 5/5 stars – the color lasts for hours and reminds me of a more expensive purchase from Charlotte Tilbury
A DOLLAR TREE shopper found an affordable lipstick that exceeded her expectations and received a five-star rating.
She said the makeup product lasted for hours and was a counterfeit of a more expensive Charlotte Tilbury cosmetic product.

Reddit user Sophie_The_Glam_Diva loves good beauty deals, especially when the quality is good.
She raved about a lipstick from Dollar Tree that lasts a long time and resembles a product from a popular makeup brand.
Sophie bought two lipsticks for $1.25 each at the discount store and rated both of them.
First, she raved about the LA Colors Nude Glam Lipstick in “Oh Teddy.”
“The shade of this lipstick is a pinkish nude brown. It has a satin finish. No glitter or shimmer. It has high coverage and feels smooth and creamy on my lips,” she said.
Additionally, she said it smells really good and reminds her of “buttered popcorn.”
I was able to wear it for five hours before it needed touch-up.
The pigment is excellent, it is super pigmented and has good coverage after the first application.

Sophie agreed and said it was perfect for her daily use.
“The shade reminded me of one of Charlotte Tilbury’s all-time favorite lipsticks,” she added.
The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Hydrating Lipstick ($35) in the shade Pillow Talk is a similar nude or pink tone.
According to the product description, the matte lipstick has a long-lasting, buildable and moisturizing formula.

“I definitely needed this to complement my grayscale eyeshadow palette, which I also bought at LA Colors the same day,” she said.
She said that unlike Oh Teddy, this lipstick also has a satin finish and is semi-matte.
Plus, it doesn’t sparkle or shimmer like the first lipstick.
“It definitely has high coverage, just as advertised,” she said.
Sophie said the pigmentation was stunningly strong with just one swipe.
“This one smells just like the one above, a buttery popcorn scent! I was able to wear this one for five hours before I had to touch it up,” she added.
For the sake of transparency, she said she had neither eaten nor drunk anything when she first tested the inexpensive purchases.
“When I finally did, I noticed a considerable amount of marks on the cups,” she added.
