    Texas A&M Football and Arkansas Razorbacks score heavily in the final portion of the Southwest Classic at AT&T Stadium.

    The Aggies have Marcel Reed at center for the third time this season as Conner Weigman was ruled out before kickoff. Reed already has a touchdown pass in the first half.

    But it was the Razorbacks who scored first after a long pass from Taylen Green. At the end of the first quarter, Arkansas had a 14-7 lead.

    Both teams enter the clash at 3-1, having just secured a win and looking to pick up another win against a long-time rival.

    The Aggies have been the rivals of late, winning nine of the last ten meetings. Two of the top 10 running teams in the country will meet on a national stage televised by ESPN.

    Texas A&M vs. Arkansas score updates

    After an Aggies punt, the Razorbacks got the ball deep in their own territory and looked to extend their lead. However, Aggies’ defensive lineman Shemar Stewart had other plans. On a first-down handoff, Stewart attacked the mesh point and blasted both the quarterback and running back, resulting in a fumble. Scooby Williams of the Aggies grabbed the ball and gave the offense the ball in play at the 10-yard line. Two plays later, Reed picked his own number from five yards out and A&M tied the game at 14-14.

    The Razorbacks are pulling out all the stops early in this game. After a third-down sack by A&M’s Jaydon Hill, Arkansas responded with a fake punt that gained big yards and kept the drive alive. From there, the Razorbacks went on a 10-play, 75-yard possession capped by an 8-yard touchdown run by Ja’Quinden Jackson, putting them back on top 14-7.

    After the quick score, the Aggies defense responded by forcing a three-pointer on the next possession. From there, the offense only needed three plays before taking advantage of a 58-yard pass from Marcel Reed to Noah Thomas to tie the score at 7-7.

    After two good defensive plays from the Aggies defense, the Razorbacks took their first lead of the game with a home run shot. Quarterback Taylen Green connects with Isaac Teslaa for a 75-yard touchdown, giving them an early 7-0 lead.

    Shortly before kickoff, the Aggies’ final injury report was released, confirming that Conner Weigman is officially out for tonight’s game and Marcel Reed will start for the third straight game against the Razorbacks.

    Like last week, Weigman was seen on the field in street clothes, cheering on his teammates. Reed is 2-0 in his first two appearances and will look to continue his winning streak against Arkansas.
