Lane Kiffin has a hilarious reaction to Nick Saban flaunting his personality on TV and in commercials

Lane Kiffin saw another side Nick Sabanlike the rest of the college football world since his retirement from coaching.

Apparently, Kiffin is shocked to see Saban joking around and having fun on ESPN College game day and in various advertising appearances. So much so that the Ole Miss leader made sure to let Saban know during an appearance on the aforementioned ESPN pregame show Saturday morning.

“I love Coach, but I never saw that side,” Kiffin joked. “I actually saw a commercial. I paused it, replayed it, filmed it on my phone and sent it to Kirby (smart)sent it to Sark (Steve Sarkisian) And all these guys and I were like, “Who is this guy, man?” This guy is great. make jokes.’ I mean, one of them got to rent an apartment and live with him, that’s great.”

Maybe Saban should have shown more of his softer, comedic side while Kiffin was his offensive coordinator Alabama. Still, it’s hard to argue with the way Saban operated, despite all the success he’s had in Tuscaloosa over the years.

Unfortunately, Lane Kiffin made Nick Saban laugh during their time together with Alabama, but nothing like what we saw with Kirk Herbstreit and that College game day receive. Predictably, the former Crimson Tide leader has made a splash in the media world, and that isn’t likely to change any time soon.

Lane Kiffin admits he doesn’t think Ole Miss’ opponents prepared the Rebels for SEC play

In four games Ole Miss seemed almost dominant. The Rebels brought a lot of momentum to the SEC portion of the schedule, winning by a combined score of 220-22 to post a 4-0 record.

To Lane KiffinHowever, Ole Miss’ opponents didn’t really prepare the Rebels for conference play. Instead, he hopes that the achievement will pay off in practice.

Ole Miss has added talent in the trenches on both sides of the ball this offseason, which is why the Rebels are producing some College Football Playoffs hum. That influx is one reason Kiffin said practice more than schedule could help his team prepare for conference play.

“I’m a realist,” Kiffin said. “I don’t think our opponents really prepared us for SEC play. My hope is our training and our fall camp has prepared us because we are playing against really good players on both sides of the ball. Defensively, we play against really big linemen. The same applies vice versa.

“The schedule is what it is. I hope our practice is successful because our practice is similar to what we face.”

Ole Miss’ strength of schedule ranks 125th out of 134 FBS programs competing Saturday Kentuckyaccording to ESPN. The only Power Four matchup was against each other Wachwald – a 40-6 victory for the Rebels – and the four opponents have a combined record of 5-10. As SEC play begins, they now face the 25th most difficult remaining schedule in the country.
