New Jersey Greekfest is just around the corner – here’s what you need to know

Many of us “foodies” agree: Greek food is excellent.

For years we have celebrated Greek Easter with our friends Pete and Elena at their home in Summit. The souvlaki, Greek style potatoes and the pork on the spit. I’m hungry when I think about it.

On Saturday, September 28th, Jodi and I will be in Westfield for Greekfest 2024 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield, Union County.

Our friend Anthe is organizing the three day festival starting on Friday September 27th and running until Sunday September 29th. I’ll stop by on Saturday evening around 6pm to eat the souvlaki pork skewers.

There is a small $2 admission fee to enter, but current students can use their student ID for free entry. Music, games and food round out one of the great weekend activities to add to your calendar.

Listen to my conversation with Anthe here:

New Jersey ranks in the top 10 in the country for multi-crop production.
