What else do we know about the Disney movie Monster Jam?

“We have an opportunity here to create something that is immersive, cool and fun and also a live-action experience for our families around the world from the perspective of these incredible, iconic monster trucks and their very eccentric and crazy drivers,” Johnson said, via Variety. “Ladies and gentlemen, Monster Jam is going to be one hell of a ride.”

Johnson also said, “I’m really excited to share the news with you guys. As you know, I’m a pickup truck man. That’s all I drive. I drove here in my pickup truck. It’s in the back. You know that, and I love motorsports, love monster trucks.”

Further plot details remain under wraps at this time. There is no release date yet and it is not yet clear whether the film will be released in theaters or premiere on Disney+.

Johnson has worked with Disney on a number of projects, appearing in films such as “Daddy’s Own Plan” (2007), “Race to Witch Mountain” (2009), and “Jungle Cruise” (2021).
