DENSO promotes sustainability efforts at locations in southeast Michigan through DTE Energy’s MIGreenPower program

Belleville Logistics Center and a facility at the company’s regional headquarters to return 100% of electricity consumption to renewable DTE sources for 10 years beginning in 2028

SOUTHFIELD, Mich, September 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — DENSO and DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) today announced that the leading mobility provider has enrolled in DTE’s CleanVision MIGreenPower program. one of the largest voluntary renewable energy programs in the United States DENSO’s Belleville Logistics Center and a facility at its North American headquarters in Southfield will take part in the initiative.

Through MIGreenPower, DENSO will allocate 100% of the electricity consumption at participating facilities to DTEs MichiganFor 10 years, DTE has been building wind and solar farms across the state that exceed the 15% share of renewable energy and already serve all electricity customers. DENSO has registered 5,840 megawatt hours per year as of 2028, which has an environmental impact equivalent to the carbon sequestered annually by 4,763 hectares of forest.
