Southwest is expanding service at Nashville Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Southwest Airlines announced Monday its extended schedule through early June 2025.

With this expanded schedule, several new destinations will be available from Nashville International Airport.

“Southwest’s announcement of expanded schedules further strengthens their commitment to the region,” said Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “Whether you’re heading north to visit the capital city of New York or west to attend the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, BNA has a nonstop option.”

After opening its flight crew base in Nashville on May 1, the airline continues to expand its offerings with additional flights and new routes.

Service between Nashville will begin April 8, 2025 and the following cities:

  • Albuquerque, NM
  • Albany, NY
  • Jackson, Miss.
  • Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Providence, Rhode Island
  • Tulsa, Okla.

The new flights are expected to increase Southwest’s scheduled presence in Nashville to an all-time high of 174 Sunday departures in April and May 2025.
