Q: Devin Singletary ran well but lost two fumbles. When he played for you in Buffalo, he lost four times. How worried are you and what can you do about it?

Daboll: “I think (running backs coach) Joel (Thomas) talks about it all the time. We talk about it as an offense, as a team. It’s up to the individual player to make sure they have the right fundamentals and techniques.” We train. And motor (singletary) definitely works. We need to take better care of football, not just motor. We also made a mistake on a kickoff return. Grey. It is a priority to have the ball at the end. Daboll: “I’m just happy that we won the game and influenced the quarterback. But as far as quarterback, I thought (defensive coordinator) Shane (Bowen) did a great job, the defensive staff, having a good rushing plan. You’ve got this.” In order to play the game a certain way to impact the other team’s quarterback, you have to play a complementary football game so they’re in more passing situations. And then you have to go out there and execute the play, which the fundamentals, the techniques and the rush, and I think Shane led them well (defensive coach Andre). Patterson), (external linebackers coach) Charlie Bullen, (assistant linebackers coach Bryan) Cox, all of those guys have contributed in terms of the rush plan that’s needed every week.

Q: Micah (McFadden) is tied for the team lead with 19 tackles and did not play in the first game. Some guys seem to have a feel for where the ball is going. Is he one of those guys?

Daboll: “Yes, an instinctive player. Somehow you see the ball, get the ball. I thought our tackling improved from Week 2 to Week 3. Still not where it should be, but we have made some progress in that area.”

Q: One of the overlooked plays of the game was when Bryce Ford-Wheaton was forced out of bounds on a double-team shooting guard on a 57-yard punt by (Jamie) Gillan and lunged for the tackle on a 3-yard return.

Daboll: “That’s his main job on this football team, the special teams, and shooting is a big part of that. That’s his job, to make sure he excels in that role and continues to improve as a young player. I think that’s him. “He has the size, explosiveness and strength to do this job at a high level. That’s the most important part, especially this week, with the returner and the punt return that they have the league. I’m talking about (KaVontae) Turpin. He is a problem.

Q: Is there a minimum percentage of successful field goal attempts that you consider acceptable? (Greg) Joseph has made 82% of his career field goal attempts. Is there a minimum in your mind?

Daboll: “I want to hit all of our field goals.”

Daboll: “That’s it. That’s what I want to do, take advantage of every scoring opportunity we have.”

Q: A non-Giants question. Damar Hamlin had his first career interception Monday night, 630 days after he was revived on the field in Cincinnati. You were with him in Buffalo.

Daboll: “I haven’t seen it, but I know Damar and it’s a pretty incredible story. I’m happy for the young man.”

Q: A few questions about the Cowboys. We know about Dak (Prescott) and (Ceedee) Lamb, but Jalen Tolbert has become an important part of their offense and Jake Ferguson is a Pro Bowl tight end. You still have plenty of weapons, don’t you?

Daboll: “They do. It obviously starts with Dak and Coach (Mike) McCarthy. They present a variety of problems with formation, tempo and personnel changes. I think Ferguson is a great security blanket for Dak. You can tell he trusts him.” . Ferguson is a good tight end who has a good feel for the passing game and is very quarterback friendly. You have to know what he stands for on offense for a long time.”

Q: They had trouble stopping the run, but they brought in (Eric) Kendricks and he’s their leading tackler. They still have (DeMarcus) Lawrence, (Micah) Parsons, (Trevon) Diggs is back. Lots of talent at all levels of defense.

Daboll: “We have to do a good job here too and play complementary football. Parsons is the league leader. Lawrence is giving us problems. Diggs, they have a lot of good players.”

Q: When we talk about weapons, it’s usually about a runner, a receiver or a pass rusher. Is Brandon Aubrey a field goal kicking weapon?

Daboll: “Yes, he is the best in the league. He’s really good. We talked about field goals. That’s what you like about your field goal kicker, right there. When you have opportunities to score points, you have to nail them.
