Real life Emmerdale The couple Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have set their wedding date for 2025.
The couple met while they were both working on the soap opera and played brothers Luke and Lee Posner on screen. They confirmed they were a couple in 2020 and announced their engagement in 2022.
This week, on Wednesday, August 7, Kris posted an Instagram story in which he revealed that their wedding date is one year away. “365 days, 365 things to do,” he wrote.

Max proposed to her while on vacation on a beach in South Africa and used some of Kris’ grandmother’s jewelry for the engagement ring.
However, the proposal was not without minor mishaps, as Kris revealed in a radio interview.
“You know, even the way he planned it … he picked a spot and hid a drone in the bushes – not with propellers, of course – so just the thought behind it was amazing,” he said.

“It was really funny because he actually had to edit out the video he posted online. A guy came and started begging when we were halfway through the proposal.
“I said, ‘I only have English money,’ so I gave him 10 pounds, which is about 200 rand in South African currency, and he told me the big story about why he needed the money.
“You see him coming through the sand dune, but it was perfect and it wouldn’t have been a Max Parker proposal if there wasn’t something funny about it.”
Emmerdale will be broadcast weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and streamed on ITVX.
