Hello again, European football.

It’s been just over a year and a half since Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the Champions League by AC Milan; It’s a slightly less glamorous game this time as Spurs face Qarabag in the Europa League. Hopefully the result will at least be more glamorous!

Expect some rotation; While Qarabag is nothing to sneeze at, the Azerbaijani league leaders shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for English giants Tottenham. Still, strange things have happened and Spurs need to make sure they show up to prevent a motivated team from causing a surprise upset.

• Treat other people in the match thread the way you would want someone else to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an unmoderated message board.
• NO SPIDERS!
• Although we don’t have a policy against profanity, please try to keep the naughty words at bay. In addition, statements that are sexist, racist, transphobic or homophobic in nature will be immediately deleted and you will be blocked immediately. This is an open, supportive community.
