PINON HILLS, California (VVNG.com) — A man and a woman were arrested after a stolen truck was found in their home in Pinon Hills.

On Monday, August 5, 2024, at 9:46 a.m., officers responded to a call to a vacant property at the intersection of Buckwheat Road and Phelan Road.

According to the caller, the people were on the property without permission and had brought a mobile home and a truck with them.

When officers arrived, they found Lori Ballard, 60, a resident of Pinon Hills, and Jeremy Sizemore, 50, a resident of Phelan, on the property.

Officers confirmed with the property owner that Ballard and Sizemore did not have permission to enter the property. The suspects were found in possession of a stolen 1998 Chevrolet truck. The truck was stolen from Phelan in January 2024.

Jeremiah Sizemore and Lori Ballard were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into the High Desert Detention Center. They are being held on $30,000.00 bail.
